A leading manufacturer of electronics and robotic components was looking for new ways to expand their supplier network, source parts, reduce costs, and improve vendor collaboration. As part of our digital transformation strategy, we uncovered how our client could use artificial intelligence (AI) and a digital supply chain twin model to give better visibility and analytics into their supply chain operations. We created a real-time digital model of suppliers, production output, inventory, and client orders.
This gave them the ability to plan, schedule, and predict their raw material procurement and manufacturing schedules. These functions were enhanced by a supplier channel for procurement and an intelligent pricing negotiation function to cross-reference market rates.
